Key Responsibilities

- Design & development of Passenger Car BIW sheet metal components
- Solid expertise in UG NX (NX Surfacing is mandatory)
- In-depth knowledge of BIW structures and assemblies
- Concept generation and feasibility evaluation of BIW components
- Knowledge of joining techniques (spot welding, hemming, riveting, etc.)
- Manufacturing knowledge of sheet metal components
- Apply DFM (Design for Manufacturing) & DFA (Design for Assembly) principles
- Cost optimization of components and assemblies
- Knowledge of materials, GD&T;, tolerance stack-up, and FMEA
- Work experience in Teamcenter (mandatory)
- Participate in design reviews and packaging reviews
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams and suppliers
- Manage project timelines and deliverables
