We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager with expertise in B2B sales, industrial services, and client relationship management. The candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, acquiring customers, preparing quotations, following up on enquiries, and promoting our material and product testing services.
Business Development Manager – Key Responsibilities
- Generate new B2B leads across automotive, plastics, rubber, polymer and manufacturing industries.
- Identify potential customers and develop current business opportunities.
- Promote laboratory testing, R&D; and product validation services.
- Handle customer enquiries and understand technical testing requirements.
- Prepare quotations and follow up until order confirmation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
- Conduct client meetings, presentations and industrial visits.
- Coordinate with technical and laboratory teams to fulfil customer requirements.
- Maintain sales records, lead status and follow-up activities.
- Achieve monthly sales and revenue targets.
- Monitor competitors, market trends and customer requirements.
- Support payment follow-ups and customer service activities.
Preferred qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Chemistry or Polymer Technology.
- Minimum 2–5 years of B2B sales or business-development experience.
- Experience in testing laboratories, manufacturing or industrial services is preferred.
- Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Willingness to travel and meet customers.
- Proficiency in English and Tamil; Hindi is an advantage.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 per month
