Position: French Teacher (Grades 912)

Location: Chandivali, Mumbai
Curriculum: Cambridge (IGCSE)

Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and experienced French Teacher to teach students from Grades 9 to 12 following the Cambridge (IGCSE) curriculum. The ideal candidate should possess excellent French language proficiency, outstanding English communication skills, and the ability to create an engaging and student-centered learning environment while maintaining high academic standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Teach French to students from Grades 9–12 in accordance with the Cambridge (IGCSE) curriculum.
2. Prepare and deliver engaging lesson plans that meet curriculum objectives.
3. Assess students through assignments, projects, class activities, and examinations.
4. Maintain student attendance, academic records, and progress reports.
5. Foster an inclusive, disciplined, and interactive classroom environment.
6. Differentiate teaching methods to support diverse learning needs.
7. Integrate technology into classroom instruction using digital learning tools.
8. Collaborate with academic coordinators and fellow teachers for curriculum planning and student development.
9.



Participate in parent-teacher meetings, school events, and professional development activities.
10. Uphold the school's academic policies and teaching standards.

Required Skills

1. Excellent command of the French language.
2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
3. Strong understanding of the Cambridge (IGCSE) curriculum.
4. Effective lesson planning and classroom management skills.
5. Student assessment and evaluation.
6. Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
7. Ability to create an engaging and interactive learning workplace.
8. Good organizational and time management skills.
9. Technology-enabled teaching using Google Workspace and SMART Boards.

Educational Qualifications

1. C1 Certification in French (Mandatory).
2. Any Graduation

Experience

1. Experience teaching Grades 9–12.
2. Prior experience teaching the Cambridge (IGCSE) curriculum is preferred.
3. Experience in an International School environment is preferred.
