Financial Analyst
Location:
- CSC India, Delhi
Objectives
- For a professional responsible for maintaining the books of accounts and reporting purposes.
Organizational / Reporting:
- Person will report to the U.S.
Responsibilities:
- Supports monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing and reporting under US GAAP and IFRS.
- Reviews balance sheet and profit-and-loss accounts for accuracy, completeness, and unusual variances.
- Participates in annual budgeting, periodic forecasting, and long-range financial planning.
- Analyzes actual results against budgets, forecasts, and prior periods and explains significant variances.
- Supports cash-flow forecasting, working-capital analysis, and liquidity planning.
- Monitors and updates revenue, costs, margins, cash flow, billing, collections, and profitability of long-term projects (FAK).
- Identifies project cost overruns, margin deterioration, schedule impacts, and other financial risks.
- Provides timely recommendations and early warnings to project managers and management.
- Supports the accounting and reporting of long-term contracts, including revenue recognition, work in progress, accruals, and provisions.
- Supports internal controls, audit requests, process improvements, and financial system enhancements.
- Partners with financial and non-financial stakeholders to support operational and strategic decisions.
- Performs special projects and other related duties assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant
- ICAI Membership
- BIG 4 firms (Deloitte, EY, KPMG, PwC)
- Fluent in English language (speaking and writing) (Compulsory).
- Good listening and communication skills (speaking and writing) are essential.
- Team Player. Handling & managing small teams.
- Must be smart, confident, and assertive.
- Positive knowledge of Accounting Standards and IT systems (SAP & MS Office).
