Job Summary

We are seeking a Desktop Support Engineer to provide technical support and maintenance for desktop systems, laptops, peripherals, software applications, and IT infrastructure. The role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, supporting end users, maintaining IT assets, and ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide first-level and second-level technical support to end users.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other peripherals.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and operating system issues.
- Support Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office 365, Outlook, Teams, and other business applications.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access through Active Directory.
- Configure and support email clients and mobile devices.
- Install software updates, patches, and security configurations.
- Monitor and maintain IT inventory and asset management records.




- Escalate complex issues to relevant teams when necessary.
- Assist in onboarding and offboarding activities, including system provisioning.
- Support network connectivity, VPN access, and basic troubleshooting.
- Document incidents, resolutions, and technical procedures in the ticketing system.
- Ensure compliance with IT security policies and standards.

Technical Skills

- Robust knowledge of Windows 10/11 administration.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 and Outlook support.
- Knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and user management.
- Understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
- Experience with ticketing tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, or Remedy.
- Familiarity with hardware troubleshooting and replacement.
- Basic knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.
