Product Owner AI Platform

Summary

We are looking for a Product Owner to join a within an AI Platform team. Each squad owns the end-to-end delivery of one or more AI agents that power autonomous financial workflows. The Product Owner is embedded within the squad, owns the backlog, and serves as the bridge between business requirements and engineering delivery.

This is a hands-on Product Owner role, not a strategic Product Manager position. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, AI-native engineering environment and can translate complex business workflows into clear, actionable user stories.

What You'll Do

- Own and prioritize the squad backlog by writing detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and requirements that engineers can implement without ambiguity.
- Partner closely with the Engineering Manager and Tech Lead to plan delivery across agent features, platform integrations, and technical initiatives.
- Represent the voice of end users in sprint planning and product discussions.
- Participate actively in sprint ceremonies, including planning, refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Define and track KPIs for AI agent performance, including resolution rates, accuracy, and exception handling, and use insights to improve the backlog.
- Collaborate with Product Managers and other Product Owners on cross-team dependencies and shared platform capabilities.
- Gather requirements from internal stakeholders and users, validate assumptions,



and incorporate feedback into future development.

Who You Are

Product Ownership

- 3+ years of Product Owner or Product Management experience in an enterprise SaaS workplace.
- Strong backlog management skills with the ability to write clear, testable, and unambiguous requirements.
- Experience working directly within Agile engineering squads.
- Comfortable discussing APIs, data models, and technical architecture with engineering teams.
- Strong prioritization and stakeholder management skills.

AI-Native Mindset

- Understanding of LLM-based AI agents, including prompt engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), agent orchestration, and confidence scoring.
- Comfortable discussing AI agent behavior, failure modes, and human-in-the-loop workflows.
- Passion for staying current with AI technologies, agent frameworks, LLM tooling, and enterprise AI platforms.

Domain & Delivery

- Experience with enterprise SaaS products is required.
- Familiarity with financial operations, accounting workflows, or ERP systems is a plus.
- Experience defining and measuring AI or automation KPIs such as resolution rates, accuracy, and exception volumes is highly desirable.

Nice to Have

- Experience with financial close, reconciliation, or Record-to-Report (R2R) processes.
- Familiarity with SOX compliance.
- Experience building marketplace or partner-facing products.
