Position: AEM Architect
- Core AEM Stack • Cloud & DevOps: Hands-on with: AEM as a Cloud Service , Adobe Cloud Manager, CI/CD pipelines, Cloud environments (AWS/Azure) • Frontend & Build Ecosystem: Proficiency in React/Vue, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Maven, Git, Jenkins/Azure DevOps. • Integrations: Strong experience integrating AEM with Adobe ecosystem products and external enterprise systems/APIs. • Certification (Preferred): Adobe Certified Professional/Expert in AEM (Developer, Architect, or Lead Developer track).
Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Solution Architecture & Design, Define target-state architecture for AEM Sites, Assets, Headless, and AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS) . Design multi-site, multi-brand, multi region architecture patterns for global implementations. Produce architecture artifacts 1: including: Solution Architecture Documents (SAD) ,Component/Domain Models, Architecture Decision Records (ADRs), Integration and deployment views, Architect enterprise integrations between AEM and: Adobe Experience Cloud (Analytics, Target, Launch/Tags, Marketo), Third-party platforms (CRM, ERP, Commerce, Search, middleware), Establish architecture guardrails for security, performance, extensibility, and reusability.
2. Technical Leadership & Delivery Ownership, Provide technical leadership to teams across design, build, test, and release. Define and enforce engineering quality standards, Coding standards and secure coding practices. Code review rigor and pull-request governance, Unit/integration test coverage thresholds, Definition of Done and release quality gates, Drive CI/CD excellence using Adobe Cloud Manager and enterprise DevOps practices. Mentor junior/mid-level engineers and enable a culture of craftsmanship and continuous improvement. Partner with Product Owners and Project Managers on estimations, sprint planning, risk management, and dependency resolution.
3. Hands-On Development, Performance & Governance,
Contribute directly to complex implementation areas: OSGi services, Sling Models, HTL (Sightly), Core Component extensions, Dispatcher/CDN configuration and caching strategy, API orchestration and integration components, Lead platform performance tuning: Oak index/query optimization Caching and invalidation strategies, Publish/render performance improvements, Define and implement security and operational governance standards. Lead production incident troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and corrective/preventive action plans.
4. AI-Assisted Engineering Enablement, Champion responsible adoption of AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Cline, Codex, DevEx, or equivalent). Define practical usage standards for AI in: Code scaffolding/refactoring, Test case generation, Documentation acceleration Developer productivity workflows Establish governance for AI-assisted coding (quality checks, IP/security controls, human review requirements).
Must have skills:
- Results Driven Proficient in AEM development, associated languages and tools. Familiarity with AEM security, workflows, replication, and performance optimization
- Customer Impact Experience in integrating AEM with other Adobe products, such as Target and Sites, as well as third-party systems and services. Should know authentication against LDAP server., SSO, SAML etc. Should have experience with system design for Ecommerce Web Application. Should have experience with AEM Assets Managements, Assets Syndication, API Integration with External Application. Should know infrastructure/ sizing estimation Should ensure the performance, quality, and security of the AEM ecosystem CTP
- Builds and Manages Cooperative Relationships Should be able to work with experienced designers and developers on design, development, QA, launch, and maintenance. Adaptable and capable of dealing with often changed priorities with effective communication skills and the ability to convert requirements into achievable development goals.
