Job Purpose

The Associate Lead - Procurement (Civil) will be responsible for end-to-end procurement of civil construction materials, subcontractor packages, and services for AdaniConneX Data Center projects. The role involves strategic sourcing, vendor management, techno-commercial evaluations, contract negotiations, and timely procurement to ensure seamless project execution while optimizing cost, quality, and delivery.

Key Responsibilities Procurement & Sourcing:

- Manage procurement of civil construction materials such as cement, steel, RMC, aggregates, AAC blocks, waterproofing materials, finishing materials, structural components, and related civil packages.
- Execute end-to-end procurement cycle including RFQ/RFP preparation, tendering, bid evaluations, negotiations, and order placement.
- Conduct techno-commercial evaluation of suppliers and contractors in coordination with project and engineering teams.
- Ensure timely procurement aligned with project milestones and construction schedules.

Vendor & Contract Management
- Develop and manage a robust vendor ecosystem for civil materials and subcontracting services.
- Evaluate vendor capabilities, conduct due diligence, and benchmark commercial proposals.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, warranties, and contractual terms to achieve optimal commercial outcomes.
- Monitor vendor performance and implement corrective actions where required.

Project Coordination
- Collaborate closely with Project Management, Engineering, Planning, Commercial, and Site Execution teams.




- Ensure timely availability of materials and services to avoid project delays.
- Track procurement schedules and proactively mitigate supply chain risks.

Cost Optimization
- Identify value engineering and cost-saving opportunities through strategic sourcing and supplier negotiations.
- Monitor market trends and pricing fluctuations for key construction materials.
- Support budget adherence and procurement efficiency initiatives across projects.

Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, governance standards, and contractual obligations.
- Maintain procurement documentation, purchase orders, work orders, contracts, and vendor records.
- Prepare MIS reports, procurement dashboards, spend analysis, and savings reports for management review.

Desired Candidate Profile:

- B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a reputed institute.
- 4-9 years of experience in procurement of civil materials and construction packages.
- Experience in large-scale infrastructure, industrial, commercial, EPC, real estate, or data center projects.
- Strong understanding of civil construction materials, market dynamics, and vendor landscape.
- Valuable exposure to contract management, tendering, and techno-commercial negotiations.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work in a fast-paced project environment.
