Roles and Responsibilities

- Plan and execute daily production activities according to the production schedule.
- Monitor production processes to ensure quality, efficiency, and timely delivery.
- Coordinate with production, stores, quality, and maintenance teams for smooth operations.
- Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machines, and materials.
- Maintain production records, reports, and documentation accurately.
- Monitor raw material availability and coordinate with the stores team to avoid production delays.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and company quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations on the shop floor.
- Identify production issues and support corrective and preventive actions.
- Minimize production downtime, waste, and rework through continuous process improvement.
- Assist in implementing Lean Manufacturing and 5S practices.




- Support inventory control and production planning activities.
- Coordinate machine maintenance schedules with the maintenance team.
- Meet daily, weekly, and monthly production targets.
- Prepare production performance reports and present updates to management.

Required Qualifications

- Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 13 years of experience in production or manufacturing operations (freshers with relevant knowledge may also be considered).
- Knowledge of production planning and manufacturing processes.
- Basic understanding of quality systems and safety practices.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems is an added advantage.
