Role & responsibilities

- Drive life insurance sales through assigned bank branches.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual business targets.
- Generate leads through bank branch referrals and customer interactions.
- Conduct customer meetings and provide suitable life insurance solutions.
- Cross-sell and up-sell insurance products to existing and prospective customers.
- Ensure maximum penetration of insurance products in assigned branches.

Relationship Management

- Build and maintain strong working relationships with bank branch managers and relationship officers.
- Provide regular support and engagement to bank staff to generate quality business.
- Conduct branch activities, promotional campaigns, and customer awareness programs.

Customer Service

- Understand customer financial goals and recommend appropriate insurance plans.
- Ensure seamless onboarding and policy issuance processes.
- Address customer queries and maintain high service standards.

Training & Support

- Train and educate bank staff on life insurance products, benefits, and sales processes.




- Assist branch personnel in identifying potential customers and generating referrals.

Compliance & Reporting

- Adhere to IRDAI guidelines and company policies.
- Maintain accurate sales records and reports.
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance during policy sales.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

- Premium collection and revenue achievement
- Policy conversion ratio
- Lead generation and closure rate
- Active branch engagement
- Customer retention and persistency
- Training and activation of bank staff

Required Qualifications

- Graduate in any discipline
- IRDAI certification (if applicable).
- Minimum 1-3 years of sales experience in Life Insurance, Bancassurance, Banking, Financial Services, or BFSI sector.
- Freshers with robust sales aptitude may also be considered.

Preferred Experience

- Experience in Bancassurance or Life Insurance sales.
- Exposure to working with partner banks and branch banking teams.
- Understanding of insurance regulations and compliance requirements.
