AutoCAD Draftsman Civil (2D)

Location: Chennai

We are looking for an experienced AutoCAD Draftsman with 3 - 5 years of expertise in civil 2D drafting. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and detailed engineering drawings for infrastructure and building projects using AutoCAD.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed 2D drawings for civil projects (site layouts, roads, drainage, utilities)

Interpret engineering designs, sketches, and specifications

Use AutoCAD commands efficiently

Maintain layer standards, drawing accuracy, and proper scaling

Produce construction drawings and submission drawings

Modify drawings based on site changes and client/engineer feedback

Coordinate with civil engineers, architects, and project teams





Ensure timely delivery of drawings with high quality

Required Skills

Strong expertise in 2D drafting using AutoCAD

Positive understanding of civil engineering drawings and detailing

Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines

Experience & Qualification

Diploma / ITI / BE in Civil Engineering

3 to 5+ years of relevant experience in civil drafting

Preferred Skills

Basic knowledge of AutoCAD 3D

Experience in infrastructure / construction projects
