About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer with strong data architecture expertise to design, build, and govern enterprise-scale cloud data platforms. This role requires deep experience in modern data technologies, data modeling, integration architecture, governance frameworks, and leading cross-functional teams to deliver scalable data solutions.

Role & responsibilities

- Design and implement contemporary cloud-based data platforms using Databricks, Snowflake, or Microsoft Fabric.
- Define and maintain enterprise data architecture, dimensional models, and semantic layers.
- Lead the design of scalable data integration solutions, including API-based integrations.
- Develop and automate data engineering processes using Python, C#, and PowerShell.
- Establish and enforce Data Governance, Data Quality, Data Catalog, and Data Stewardship practices.
- Drive Master Data Management (MDM) initiatives and data classification standards.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable data solutions.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to engineering teams.




- Implement FinOps best practices to optimize cloud platform costs and resource utilization.
- Ensure data security, compliance, reliability, and operational excellence across data ecosystems

Required Skills & Experience

Must Have

- 12+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Architecture, or related roles.
- Hands-on expertise with Databricks, Snowflake, and/or Microsoft Fabric.
- Strong experience in dimensional data modeling and semantic layer design.
- Deep understanding of data integration patterns and API-based integrations.
- Proficiency in Python, C#, and PowerShell.
- Experience implementing Data Governance, Data Quality, Data Catalog, and Data Stewardship frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of Master Data Management (MDM) and data classification.
- Experience leading technical teams and working directly with business stakeholders.
- Knowledge of cloud cost optimization and FinOps principles.

Preferred candidate profile

- Experience with Azure cloud ecosystem.
- Familiarity with enterprise-scale analytics and reporting solutions.
- Certifications in Databricks, Snowflake, Azure, or Microsoft Fabric
