Role: Google Data Engineer
Desired Experience Range: 6 - 15 Years
Location: Pune
Required Skills & Experience:
- 6+ years of experience in cloud engineering or infrastructure development, with a robust focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and solutions.
- Deep understanding of GCP core services (such as Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud SQL/BigQuery) and how to architect systems using these components.
- Proven experience in designing cloud architectures, including high availability, fault tolerance, and scalability for enterprise applications. Familiarity with architecture frameworks and best practices (e.g., multi-zone deployments, microservices, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation tools (especially Terraform,
Cloud Deployment Manager, or equivalent) to provision and manage cloud resources programmatically
- Strong grasp of cloud security principles and GCP Identity and Access Management (IAM). Ability to implement network security (VPC design, firewall rules) and data security (encryption, key management) on GCP.
- Proficiency in scripting or software development (Python, Go, or Bash) to create automation scripts, integrate services via APIs, and streamline cloud operations
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and experience with monitoring tools (Stackdriver/Cloud Monitoring) for diagnosing performance issues. Strong
- organizational and communication skills, with ability to collaborate in DevOps or agile teams
