RESPONSIBILITIES

- Perform defect triage and root cause analysis, ensuring proper prioritisation and closure with development teams.
- Participate in the Business Requirements Document (BRD) review and Functional Design Document review meetings.
- Act as SME based on experience for their assigned projects. By analysing requirements and preparing a comprehensive Test Suite.
- Provide project testing estimates independently and develop test cases and prioritise testing activities.
- Involved in preparation of Test Plans for different modules and documented test cases and scripts for various screens of the application.
- Performed functional testing, which involves different levels like system and Integration
- Execute all the test cases and report defects, define severity and priority for each defect.
- Guide juniors in the team to execute the prepared test cases by preparing test suites from the test cases list
- Prepare the status report of testing activities and update project managers regularly about the progress of testing activities
- Maintain the traceability of requirements in all stages of the project.
- Able to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Be proactive in actions and delivery-focused.
- Convert Manual Integration tests into automated tests.
- Mentor and provide training and assist junior members of the team.
- Assign and conduct day-to-day management of sub-Testing teams assigned projects, tasks, and activities.
- Provide input for release test strategies and adhere to testing standards.
- Review and validate test results and defect reports of juniors along with the Test Lead on a need basis.
- Support client in User Acceptance Testing.
- Provide training and mentoring to new team members.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with resources in all the areas of engagement.




- Share reports on assigned project-related issues and risks with management and escalate if required

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

Minimum

- 4-5 years of experience in testing web and mobile applications
- Experience with AI-assisted testing and exposure to shift-left testing strategies.
- Familiarity with cloud ERP applications, e.g., on Azure environments.
- A team player with Excellent verbal, written and communication skills
- A self-starter who can learn quickly and identifies, communicates, and escalates issues as required.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritise tasks and quickly adjust in a rapidly changing environment.
- Ability to work independently with clients, be proactive, and self-managed
- Ability to communicate effectively in small and large groups and defend your decisions.
- In-depth review of the Business Requirements document to understand the architecture and functionality of the application independently
- Good knowledge of writing SQL queries
- Ability to provide the efforts for the assigned tasks independently
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment handling multiple projects
- Result-oriented & willing to undertake new challenges and responsibilities.
- Able to lead QA activities for the assigned project independently
- Good knowledge of quality standards and processes.

Preferred

- ISTQB Foundation Level certification or equivalent QA qualification.
- Experience in Testing applications like ERP
- Good to have exposure to Selenium Automation with Java (Data Driven framework)

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

- 4-5 years of experience in testing software applications
- Knowledge on using Test Management tools like Jira
- Good to have exposure in Selenium with Java
