Smart IMS is hiring for a Cloud Architect position for one of our clients, a leading product-based organization that is establishing its Global Capability Center (GCC) in India.

The selected candidate will have the flexibility to work either remotely or from the client's office in Noida, based on business requirements.

Smart IMS has been a trusted implementation partner for this client for the past four years. As the client continues to expand its operations in India through its GCC, we are supporting their strategic hiring initiatives.

This is a full-time, permanent position, and the selected candidate will be employed directly by the client.

JD: Azure Cloud Architect

Experience

- 10+ years of IT experience with 5+ years in Azure Cloud Architecture.
- Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or MCA.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and implement scalable, secure Azure cloud solutions.
- Lead cloud migration, application modernization, and microservices transformation.




- Drive AI initiatives and architect AI-enabled solutions using modern AI development tools and best practices.
- Define architecture standards, mentor engineering teams, and collaborate with business stakeholders.

Required Skills

- Azure Cloud, Microservices, API Gateway, Event-Driven Architecture.
- AI architecture, AI-assisted development (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Codex), AI guardrails, and secure code generation.
- .NET Core/.NET (C#) or Java, REST APIs, OOP, SOLID, Clean Architecture.
- Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Terraform (preferred).
- SQL/NoSQL databases, Redis.
- OAuth2, OIDC, JWT, Entra ID/Okta/Auth0.

Preferred

- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and experience handling production-critical environments.
