-Detailed experience & knowledge in various aspect of elevators; including

1.Commissioning of elevator,

2.Maintenance & repair of Elevator

3.Electrical Wiring, reading wiring diagram,

4.Trouble shooting & repairing

•Locate malfunctions in brakes, motors, switches, and signal and control systems, using test equipment

•Adjust safety controls, counterweights, door mechanisms, and components such as valves, ratchets, seals, and brake linings

• Inspect wiring connections, control panel hookups, door installations, and alignments and clearances of cars to ensure that equipment will operate properly.

•Maintain log books that detail all repairs and checks performed and maintain operational data.

•Should be able to handle manpower working under him and its optimum utilization by organizing them as a team and get work done on time





•Able to handle and resolve issues / complaints in a timely and qualified way.

•To train and motivate team to achieve qualitative standards while following Health & Safety during work

•Should be self-confident with analytical mind who believes in perfection, and research & development

•Hardworking nature. Required Qualification & Work Experience

•A minimum of 4-5 years of experience with at least 2 years experience on similar position. Having worked with one of the large brands (Schindler, OTIS, ThyssenKrupp) in similar position mandatory

•Experience in Generation 2 lift of OTIS is added advantage

•Age 30-40 years

•He should be well versed with quality & safety measures to put in place. • Africa working experience is preferable.
