Changepond is Hiring Cloud (Azure) Data Engineer with Python and PySpark.

Job Introduction:

Role & responsibilities

- Designing and building reliable Dev & DevOps-oriented platforms based on Azure.
- Develop and maintain individual models, using Python to help us grow the database
- Performing and scripting data ETL/ELT workflow with PySpark
- Develop automated tests, to ensure consistent data quality and code maintainability
- Own the end-to-end data pipeline, including data ingestion, validation
- Create CI/CD pipelines to deploy the models
- Design and deliver power BI reports
- Deliver the operational and code documentations

Preferred candidate profile:

- At least 5 years of experience, including in data processing or in data engineering(with strong focus on Python and PySpark)
- Significant knowledge about best practices with data integration life cycle
- Very good knowledge with SQL, data model (enterprise architect)



and DataWareHouse concepts
- Experience in Azure data pipelines and modern data warehouse (Databricks Lakehouse, Data Vault 2.0, Unity Catalog, Python, PySpark)
- Experience in data pipeline and large-scale data warehouse implementation (including data lakes, Databricks)
- Understanding of data modelling in multiple paradigms (relational, message schema, graph, etc.)
- Experienced in applying automated testing frameworks to ensure code quality and maintainability
- Proven experience optimizing large-scale data pipelines for performance and cost-efficiency.
- Proficiency in Python, with demonstrated experience using data-processing libraries
- Proficient use of Git in a collaborative professional workplace, including the use of CI/CD pipelines to automate code analysis, testing, and deployment processes
