This role will oversee the financial health of the fintech business in Tanzania & Malawi (2 Different country leadership roles). The Head of Finance will ensure robust financial governance, drive strategic planning, and maintain compliance with local and international standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver accurate financial reports and forecasts.
- Manage cash flow, credit risk, and external funding.
- Coordinate audits and ensure clean audit outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and tax frameworks.
- Support business growth through financial insights.
- Lead and develop the finance team.
Must Have
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- CA qualification.
- 12+ years of experience, including 8+ in FMCG , fintech, or large corporates.
- Experience in African or emerging markets.
- Solid command of financial systems and digital finance tools.
