Job Description HVAC Design & Estimation Engineer
Location- Ahmedabad / Project Sites
Reporting To Director
Position: HVAC Design & Estimation Engineer
An HVAC Design & Estimation Engineer is responsible for designing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems and prespring cost estimates and technical proposals for projects.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design HVAC systems for residential, commercial, industrial, and healthcare buildings.
- Perform cooling and heating load calculations using industry standards (such as ASHRAE).
- Prepare HVAC layouts, duct sizing, pipe sizing, and equipment selection.
- Develop BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and material take-offs from drawings.
- Estimate project costs for equipment, materials, labour, and installation.
- Prepare technical and commercial proposals and tender documents.
- Coordinate with architects, MEP consultants, structural engineers, and clients.
- Review project drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable codes and standards.
- Support project execution teams with technical clarifications.

Required Skills:

- Knowledge of HVAC systems (VRF/VRV, Chillers,



AHU, FCU, Ventilation, Ducting, and Piping).
- Load calculation and equipment selection.
- Estimation and cost analysis.
- AutoCAD proficiency.
- Knowledge of software such as HAP, Carrier HAP, Revit MEP, or similar HVAC design tools.
- Good understanding of ASHRAE, SMACNA, and local building codes.
- Robust communication and analytical skills.

Educational Qualification:

- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

Experience

- Typically, 02 years for junior roles,
- 35 years for mid-level roles,
- 5+ years for senior
