Lumenci is building and scaling an agentic AI platform (Lumenci AI) with a suite of internal B2B products focused on patent analysis and legal workflows. As we transition from proof-of-concept to production deployment, we need an Associate Product Manager who can drive disciplined execution while navigating the unique challenges of AI-powered systems. This role sits at the intersection of LLMs, workflow automation, and specialized legal/IP domain knowledge - ideal for someone who wants to shape how AI delivers real value in complex professional workflows.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Product Execution & Delivery
- Drive sprint execution as Scrum Master: facilitate planning, standups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming
- Translate user stories and technical requirements into clear PRDs, epics, and acceptance criteria
- Maintain delivery momentum across internal engineering teams and external partners
- AI Product Development
- Prototype and validate agentic workflows alongside AI engineers and domain experts
- Test LLM outputs for reliability, accuracy, and domain-specific quality (e.g., patent claim analysis, prior art mapping)
- Design evaluation frameworks to measure agent performance against user expectations
- Problem-Solving & Quality
- Apply structured thinking (5 Whys, root-cause analysis) to diagnose feature gaps and system failures
- Balance speed with quality know when to ship fast vs. when to validate deeply
- Track metrics that matter users onboarded, feature adoption, user satisfaction.
- Documentation & Knowledge Management
- Build scalable product documentation: decision logs, workflow diagrams, onboarding guides
- Ensure alignment between strategic goals (OKRs) and day-to-day execution
- Create transparency for stakeholders on progress, blockers, and trade-offs
Education and Experience
- Core Product Skills
- 2-3 years in product management or related roles
- Strong understanding of agile/lean product development
- Proven ability to move from ambiguous problems to shipped features
- Experience writing clear requirements that engineers can act on immediately
- AI/LLM Familiarity
- Working knowledge of how LLMs behave in production (hallucinations, prompt sensitivity, latency)
- Exposure to RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) workflows or vector search concepts
- Hands-on curiosity: comfortable testing prompts, evaluating agent outputs, or light "vibe coding"
- Bonus: Understanding of evaluation metrics for LLM quality (precision, recall, human-in-the-loop)
