Roles & Responsibilities:

- Lead, mentor, and manage software engineering teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and maintainable software solutions.
- Own technical architecture, design decisions, and ensure adherence to engineering best practices.
- Review system designs, code quality, development standards, and production readiness.
- Guide engineers on technical challenges, performance optimization, scalability, security, and maintainability.
- Plan and manage engineering delivery with transparent milestones, timelines, dependencies, risks, and quality goals.
- Collaborate with product managers, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Drive improvements in software development processes, Agile practices, documentation, and engineering metrics.
- Establish and improve CI/CD pipelines, automation, testing strategies, observability, and production support practices.
- Promote clean code practices, reusable components, secure development practices, and operational excellence.
- Evaluate and adopt modern engineering tools, AI-assisted development solutions, and automation frameworks to improve developer productivity.
- Design and implement cloud-native solutions using modern technologies and platforms.
- Support hiring, onboarding, performance reviews, career development, and technical growth of engineering team members.
- Drive continuous learning, collaboration, and a culture of ownership and innovation.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

- BE/BTech in Computer Science,



Information Technology, or equivalent qualification.
- 10+ years of experience in software development with proven experience in technical leadership or engineering management roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with backend technologies such as Java, Python, Node.js/Express and frontend technologies including React and modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Experienced in designing scalable software architectures, microservices, APIs, and enterprise application integrations.
- Strong knowledge of databases including PostgreSQL and MySQL with experience in performance tuning and query optimization.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP and modern DevOps practices including Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Exposure to AI-assisted development, Generative AI, automation solutions, RAG-based systems, LangChain, n8n, or enterprise AI platforms is preferred.
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and grow engineering teams with strong people management skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with strong project execution and delivery ownership.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience with secure SDLC, production operations, observability, and cloud-native engineering practices is an added advantage.
