Job Role

Manage, Direct, Control and Improve Manufacturing strategies in the plant with emphasis on SQDC. Strategic and tactical responsibility for implementing manufacturing strategy and strategic operational goals to exceed customer expectations for product quality, cost and delivery, maximising efficiency, optimising production levels and driving operational excellence.

1. Create and implement best practice manufacturing vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve business performance
2. Ensure that manufacturing strategies and processes are in place to meet business objectives and operational needs in terms of price, quality and delivery targets and which enables the company to function and compete effectively in the market

Design and implement plans for the effective use of material and labor resources to achieve manufacturing target
4. Supervise the operations of manufacturing personnel to ensure a manufacturing process is within budget and time schedule
5. Develop and Control Manufacturing budget (4M)
6. Analyze and provide solutions to manufacturing challenges or problems
7. Developing and executing Training Plan for skill upgradation
8. Drive kaizens and CI projects to improve Employee engagement
9. Deliver against Manufacturing targets set forth
10. Implement a customer focused operational culture delivering world class customer service levels
11. Support project management to cross functional activity required for project execution (NPD, Sampling etc)
12. Initiate and develop creative and cutting-edge manufacturing processes
13. Monitor a manufacturing team to ensure operations are in compliance with health and safety standards
