About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced IBM Netezza Administrator to join our core team. In this role, you will be responsible for administering, maintaining, and optimizing mission-critical data warehouse platforms, ensuring high availability, performance tuning, and cloud integration across AWS and OpenShift environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Database Maintenance & Tuning: Perform database maintenance, query optimization, backup strategies, recovery, and overall system upkeep.
- Data Steward & Modeling: Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders on data modeling activities and act as a technical data steward.
- Metadata Management:



Manage and govern enterprise metadata using governance tools such as Alation or Datahub.
- Upgrades & System Support: Lead software upgrades, system maintenance windows, and installation activities with operational flexibility.
- Cloud Infrastructure Support: Collaborate on managing AWS PaaS environments and infrastructure integration.

Desired Candidate Profile

- Core DBA Expertise: 5 to 7 years of hands-on DBA experience with IBM Netezza (PureData System for Analytics).
- Containerization: 3 to 5 years of working experience with RedHat OpenShift.
- Cloud Platform: 2+ years of hands-on experience in AWS PaaS environments (EC2, NLB/ALB, IAM, S3, VPC Endpoints).
- Database & Scripting: Strong proficiency in SQL (DDL/DML) and Shell Scripting.
- Infrastructure Fundamentals: Good understanding of Active Directory and enterprise networking basics.
- Positive to Have: Prior exposure to Control-M workload automation/job scheduling.

- Immediate Requirement: Candidates currently serving a notice period (available by month-end) or immediate joiners are highly preferred.
