About the Role
SHRM is seeking a highly organized, energetic, and detail-oriented Sales & Operations Executive APAC to support business growth and operational execution across the Asia Pacific region. The role is designed for an early-career professional who enjoys working across markets, engaging with customers and partners, coordinating multiple initiatives, and contributing directly to sales pipeline development.
Combining sales support, inside sales, customer and partner coordination, event execution, and regional operations, this position offers broad exposure to business development, strategic partnerships, conferences, professional certifications, learning solutions, and executive engagement across APAC.

Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Operations
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer, prospect, and partner information in the regional CRM.
- Track opportunities, proposals, quotations, contracts, renewals, and next actions across the sales cycle.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely execution of sales activities and customer commitments.
- Support pipeline reviews, sales forecasting, reporting, and follow-up discipline across APAC.
2. Inside Sales & Lead Generation
- Conduct outbound prospecting through email, LinkedIn, telephone, and other approved channels.
- Qualify inbound enquiries, understand preliminary requirements, and schedule meetings for the regional sales team.
- Generate leads across corporate, government,
academic, association, and channel-partner segments.
- Follow up on proposals, quotations, meeting actions, event registrations, and commercial opportunities.
- Support campaigns for SHRM certifications, memberships, conferences, research, and workplace learning solutions.
3. Partner & Customer Coordination
- Coordinate regularly with SHRM partners and stakeholders across APAC.
- Support onboarding of new partners, including documentation, orientation, and training logistics.
- Maintain partner engagement calendars, action trackers, and performance updates.
- Ensure clear, timely, and qualified communication with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Support customer follow-ups to improve experience, continuity, and renewals.
4. Event & Project Coordination
- Coordinate webinars, executive roundtables, conferences, workshops, and regional meetings.
- Manage invitations, registrations, attendee communication, schedules, and event-related trackers.
- Support speaker and facilitator coordination, briefing documentation, and post-event follow-ups.
- Assist with project management and execution of cross-market regional initiatives.
5. Administrative & Operational Support
- Prepare presentations, proposals, meeting notes, reports, and other business documents.
- Coordinate meeting logistics, calendars, travel schedules, and stakeholder communication.
- Maintain documentation, databases, process trackers, and shared business records.
- Support finance, invoicing, procurement, contracting, and compliance activities related to regional operations.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelors degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing, Management, or a related field.
- 13 years of experience in sales operations, inside sales, business development, customer success, account coordination, or project coordination.
- Fresh graduates with strong internships, campus leadership, or relevant project experience may also be considered.
Skills & Competencies
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail and strong organizational ability
- Confidence in interacting with senior business leaders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and CRM platforms
- Ability to manage multiple priorities across countries and time zones
- Self-driven, proactive, dependable, and eager to learn
- Commercial orientation with a strong follow-through mindset
Preferred Experience
- Exposure to B2B sales, inside sales, account management, or business development.
- Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or Zoho.
- Experience supporting regional or international teams and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator or similar prospecting tools.
- Exposure to events, professional education, certifications, associations, or consulting services.
