About the Role

- Responsible for Supply Planning to ensure availability of the right stock at required location at the right time
- Optimize manufacturing allocation plan for pan India supply sites
- Ensuring efficient Supply Chain Performance, optimized costs, improved service levels and adherence to inventory targets
- Execute Supply Chain strategies to meet long term Business Goals
- Responsible for RCCP (Rough cut capacity planning) every month for Capacity Analysis
- Interface with Site / RDC / Transportation for timely stock movement and meeting the demand

Role Responsibilities

Distribution Resource Planning

- Generation of 24 month rolling net supply requirements from manufacturing on the basis of demand forecast and business plans, and planning for deployment and distribution of stock to ensure its availability in the right quantity, at the right place at right time.
- Ensure Net requirement Stability and ways to manage the Variability in Demand
- Analyze the Supply trends, requirement and gaps in order to proactively influence ways to gear up the supply chain to meet the future business requirements
- Monitoring supply performance, identifying key issues and timely escalation of corrective actions to ensure high service levels and avoid OOS
- Lead Agreed Supply Plan meetings with sites to secure product supply for fulfilling customer demand
- Participate in Supply Chain Meetings to develop medium to long term supply chain capabilities
- Timely Stock availability across all Depots and proactively communicate supply constraints to Customer Service team
- Support current product introductions through setting up appropriate distribution strategy, timely launch and norm setting
- Awareness of plant operations and capacity management. Interfacing with manufacturing to optimize manufacturing allocations for supply sites basis demand




- Supporting integrated S&OP; process through scenario analysis and sensitivity analysis in consideration with constrained supply through coordination with respective functions
- Lead initiative on SKU Rationalization and simplifying supply chain
- Efficient use of IT tools for planning, analytics and performance monitoring & reporting

Inventory Management

- Setting inventory management norms, lead time, Demand phasing to manage inventory levels, ensuring quick inventory turnover, timely exhaustion of aging inventory by conducting item aging analysis and escalating the same to respective stakeholders.
- Influence inventory norms by providing standard deviation to forecast & supply delays / variances
- Controlling demand / Inventories in case of supply constraints
- Maintain and deliver high product freshness through improved replenishment planning
- Control RM/PM, FG write offs through high NR stability

Team Management

- Improve Ways of Working with Site, Logistics and Marketing teams
- Roll out the process initiatives in a planned and face to face manner with adequate stakeholder participation.
- Leverage learning of other markets and incorporate for increased consistency.

Why You

Basic Qualifications

- MBA with a specialization in Supply Chain Management.
- 2 to 3 years of experience in Supply Planning.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Preferred Qualifications

- MBA from a premier institute preferred.
- 5 to 6 years of planning experience, including at least 2 years in Supply Planning.
- Knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP APO and SAP IBP is an advantage.
- Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
- Demonstrated inclination toward process digitization and automation initiatives.
