Role & responsibilities

- Build & Launch Core Mobile Apps: Architect, build, and maintain high-performance cross-platform iOS and Android applications using React Native and TypeScript.
- Social Payment Experience: Implement real-time chat feeds, payment request flows, splits, and instant P2P transfers connected to our backend APIs and NPP/Osko rails.
- Security & Biometrics: Integrate hardware-backed security, local device encryption, and seamless biometric authentication (Face ID / Touch ID / Fingerprint).
- State Management & Offline Resilience: Build resilient offline-first state synchronization, idempotent payment submission queues, and efficient WebSocket/push notification handlers.
- Design System & Performance: Collaborate closely with our UI/UX Product Designer to build a smooth, 60fps design system with subtle micro-animations and zero UI lag.
- Quality & CI/CD Pipelines: Write automated E2E and unit tests (Detox / Jest) and configure automated mobile CI/CD deployment pipelines (Fastlane / TestFlight / Google Play Console).

Key Skills & Technical Requirements

1. React Native & TypeScript Expertise: Advanced proficiency in building cross-platform iOS and Android applications using React Native and strongly typed TypeScript.
2. State Management & Data Architecture: Mastery of up-to-date mobile state management patterns (Zustand, React Query, or Redux Toolkit) and REST/WebSocket client integrations.
3. Mobile Security & Biometrics:



Hands-on experience implementing local hardware-backed storage (Keychain/Keystore), tokenization, certificate pinning, and biometric authentication (Face ID/Touch ID).
4. Native iOS & Android Interoperability: Ability to write or debug native Swift/Objective-C and Kotlin/Java bridges when custom native module capabilities are required.
5. Offline State & Data Sync: Experience building offline-first architectures, resilient queue management, and idempotent transaction state reconciliation.
6. UI/UX & Design Systems: Expertise in building pixel-perfect, accessible component libraries from Figma design systems with fluid 60fps gesture handling and micro-animations.
7. Mobile CI/CD & App Store Operations: Proven experience configuring automated build/test pipelines (Fastlane, GitHub Actions) and managing TestFlight, Apple App Store, and Google Play Console release workflows.
8. Automated Testing & Quality Assurance: Proficiency with mobile test frameworks (Jest, React Native Testing Library, Detox/Appium) for unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
9. Performance Optimization & Diagnostics: Deep knowledge of mobile performance profiling, memory leak detection, bundle optimization, and crash reporting tools (Sentry, Bugsnag).
10. FinTech & Payment Experience: Familiarity with financial application standards, real-time transaction processing, ledger states, and security compliance (PCI-DSS / SOC2 guidelines).
