Job Description (JD) Molding Machine Operator

Position Title: Molding Machine Operator

Department: Production / Manufacturing

Industry: Plastic Processing (PVC / HDPE / Injection Molding)

Job Location: Shapar (Rajkot) / Bavla (Ahmedabad) (as applicable)

Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Role

We are hiring experienced Molding Machine Operators to support our growing plastic manufacturing operations. The candidate will be responsible for operating molding machines, ensuring smooth production, maintaining quality standards, and minimizing downtime.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate and monitor Injection Molding / Blow Molding / Extrusion Molding machines.

- Set up machines as per production requirements and ensure proper cycle time.

- Perform mold changeovers and basic machine adjustments when required.

- Ensure production output meets quality and quantity targets.

- Check raw material usage and report any abnormalities.

- Inspect finished products for defects such as:

- Flash

- Short shots

- Warpage

- Surface defects

- Maintain daily production records and shift reports.

- Follow safety standards and housekeeping practices on the shop floor.





- Coordinate with supervisors and maintenance teams for breakdown support.

Candidate Requirements

- Minimum 2 years of experience in molding machine operation.

- Experience in Plastic/PVC Pipe, Fittings, or Polymer Industry preferred.

- Knowledge of machine parameters, mold setting, and troubleshooting.

- Ability to work in rotational shifts.

- Basic understanding of quality checks and production discipline.

Education Qualification

- ITI / Diploma (Mechanical / Plastic Technology) preferred

- Candidates with relevant shop-floor experience can also apply
