Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager MEP to take complete ownership of projects from award to successful handover. The role involves planning, execution, coordination, commercial control, client management, and team leadership while ensuring projects are completed safely, within budget, and as per contractual commitments.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Mobilization

- Review contracts, tender documents, BOQs, drawings, specifications, and project scope before execution.
- Visit project sites to understand execution requirements, identify risks, and prepare project execution strategies.
- Plan project schedules, manpower, procurement, budgets, cash flow, and project milestones.
- Coordinate complete site mobilization, including manpower, equipment, site office setup, statutory approvals, and required documentation.

Engineering, Procurement & Execution

- Coordinate with the design team for technical clarifications, drawing revisions, and approved design implementation.
- Ensure execution is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project timelines.
- Lead the execution of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, Fire Alarm, ELV, CCTV, Access Control, and other MEP works.
- Plan daily, weekly, and monthly work activities while monitoring productivity and site progress.
- Forecast manpower, materials, equipment, tools, and subcontractor requirements.




- Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely material availability and monitor material consumption to minimize wastage.

Coordination & Stakeholder Management

- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, architects, contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
- Conduct regular coordination meetings to review project progress, resolve issues, and ensure smooth communication among all stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships throughout the project lifecycle.

Commercial & Cost Management

- Monitor project costs against approved budgets and improve overall project profitability.
- Review subcontractor measurements, bills, vendor invoices, variations, change orders, and contractual claims.
- Support timely client billing, payment follow-ups, and maintain healthy project cash flow.

Quality & Safety

- Ensure all work complies with approved drawings, specifications, applicable standards, and client requirements.
- Monitor inspections, testing, quality documentation, and close all punch points before project handover.
- Promote a strong safety culture by ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, PPE requirements, and secure work practices.
- Support regular safety inspections, audits, and corrective actions.

Team Leadership & Reporting

- Lead, mentor, and support engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and site teams.
- Assign responsibilities,



monitor performance, and encourage teamwork and accountability.
- Track project progress against approved schedules and implement recovery plans whenever required.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports while maintaining complete project documentation, approvals, correspondence, attendance records, statutory documents, and site expense records.

Testing, Commissioning & Project Handover

- Plan and coordinate testing and commissioning activities with all stakeholders.
- Ensure successful system testing, client demonstrations, and completion of snag rectification.
- Prepare as-built drawings, O&M; manuals, warranties, and handover documentation.
- Complete final handover and project closure in accordance with contractual obligations.

Requirements

- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- 8–12 years of experience in MEP project execution and project management.
- Experience in commercial, industrial, infrastructure, hospitals, data centres, or high-rise projects will be preferred.
- Strong knowledge of project planning, execution, procurement, billing, testing, commissioning, and project handover.
- Willingness to travel across project sites.
