Job Description: GIS Application Developer / GIS Technical Lead

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced GIS Application Developer with strong expertise in designing, developing, and deploying enterprise GIS applications using ESRI technologies. The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience in web GIS development, ArcGIS platform customization, cloud deployment, and stakeholder engagement. The role requires end-to-end ownership of GIS solutions, from requirement analysis through implementation and production support.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop enterprise GIS web applications using ESRI technologies.
- Build and customize applications using ArcGIS Experience Builder, ArcGIS API for JavaScript, ArcGIS Online, Dashboards, and Story Maps.
- Gather business requirements and translate them into scalable GIS solutions.
- Develop custom GIS widgets, tools,



and workflows to support business processes.
- Lead GIS application design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with architects, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to define solution architecture.
- Deploy and configure GIS applications on cloud and on-premises environments.
- Support migration of legacy GIS systems to up-to-date web-based platforms.
- Conduct Proof of Concepts (POCs) and evaluate emerging GIS technologies.
- Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and leadership to development teams.
- Create technical documentation, user manuals, and training materials.
- Conduct end-user workshops, demonstrations, and knowledge transfer sessions.
