- Experience:
- 10+ Years in PLC programming and maintenance, including at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role (industry-specific experience preferred).
- Qualification:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Automation Engineering; relevant certifications are a plus.
- Notice Period:

Technical Skills:

- Proficiency in major PLC platforms (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider, Mitsubishi, Omron).
- Robust knowledge of HMI/SCADA systems and industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP).
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, P&IDs;, and technical manuals effectively.

Job Key Roles & Responsibilities:

- Programming & Development Oversight:- Oversee the design, development, and modification of PLC programs to facilitate new equipment installations and improvements in existing processes.
- Ensure seamless integration of PLCs with HMIs, SCADA, and other automation systems to maximize operational efficiency.
- Implement logic and programming changes aimed at enhancing machine performance, safety, and energy efficiency.




- Troubleshooting & Maintenance Leadership:- Formulate strategies for diagnosing and resolving PLC-related faults swiftly during breakdowns to minimize production disruptions.
- Collaborate with electrical and mechanical teams to address and troubleshoot complex automation issues effectively.
- Ensure that routine inspections and preventive maintenance of PLC-controlled equipment are performed consistently and efficiently.
- Documentation & Regulatory Compliance:- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of PLC programs, wiring diagrams, and system configurations.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and organizational policies in all automation practices.
- Prepare comprehensive reports regarding system performance, breakdowns, corrective actions, and modifications to stakeholders.
- Continuous Improvement & Innovation:- Lead continuous improvement initiatives by participating in root cause analysis of recurring automation issues and implementing long-term corrective solutions.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify and implement process optimization opportunities.
- Recommend enhancements and upgrades to outdated hardware or software to boost reliability and performance.
- Training & Technical Support:- Provide technical guidance and training to maintenance technicians on PLC systems and automation best practices.
- Act as a subject matter expert for automation-related inquiries and troubleshoot complex automation queries within the team.
