A Dispatch Manager is responsible for ensuring that all customer orders are dispatched accurately, safely, and on time while coordinating with production, warehouse, logistics, and sales teams.

1. Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and manage the daily dispatch schedule according to customer orders.
2. Ensure timely loading and dispatch of finished goods.
3. Coordinate with Production, Warehouse, Sales, and Logistics teams for smooth operations.
4. Verify dispatch documents such as invoices, e-way bills, delivery challans, LR (Lorry Receipt), and packing lists.
5. Ensure correct quantity, quality, and product specifications before dispatch.
6. Allocate vehicles and coordinate with transporters for timely deliveries.
7. Monitor vehicle movement and delivery status until the material reaches the customer.
8. Maintain dispatch records, transporter details, and delivery reports.
9. Optimize transportation costs while ensuring timely deliveries.
10. Resolve dispatch-related issues,



delivery delays, and customer complaints.
11. Ensure compliance with company SOPs and statutory transportation regulations.
12. Supervise dispatch staff, loaders, and warehouse personnel.
13. Monitor loading activities to prevent damage and ensure secure handling of goods.
14. Maintain stock accuracy and coordinate with inventory teams.
15. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly dispatch MIS reports.
16. Monitor transporter performance and negotiate freight rates when required.
17. Ensure proper housekeeping and safety in the dispatch area.
18. Implement process improvements to increase dispatch efficiency.
19. Coordinate with customers regarding delivery schedules and POD (Proof of Delivery).
20. Support management with reports, audits, and operational planning.
