Job Summary:
The Deputy Manager Accounts Receivables will be responsible for managing the end-to-end accounts receivable process, ensuring timely collections, maintaining customer accounts, reducing outstanding receivables, and supporting financial reporting. The role requires strong analytical abilities, excellent communication skills, and experience in handling customer payments and reconciliation.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Accounts Receivables Management:
- Manage the complete Accounts Receivable (AR)
cycle from invoice generation to payment realization.
- Monitor customer outstanding balances and ensure timely collections.
- Follow up with customers regarding overdue invoices and pending payments.
- Maintain an updated ageing analysis of receivables.
- Prepare periodic collection reports and MIS for management.
2. Billing & Invoicing:
- Verify customer contracts and purchase orders before invoice generation.
- Ensure accurate and timely customer invoicing.
- Coordinate with Sales, Projects, Dispatch, and Finance teams to resolve billing-related issues.
- Maintain proper documentation supporting invoices and customer transactions.
3. Customer Account Reconciliation:
- Perform periodic reconciliation of customer accounts.
- Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies, deductions, debit notes, and credit notes.
- Coordinate with customers for confirmation of balances.
- Resolve customer billing queries promptly.
4. Collection & Cash Flow Management:
- Develop collection strategies to improve debtor turnover.
- Ensure achievement of collection targets.
- Monitor receivable ageing and recommend corrective actions.
- Support cash flow forecasting by providing accurate collection projections.
5. Financial Reporting & Compliance:
- Prepare monthly AR reports and ageing schedules.
- Assist during statutory audits, internal audits, and financial closing activities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and statutory regulations.
- Maintain complete audit trails and supporting documentation.

Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to automate and improve AR processes.
- Implement effective collection controls and SOPs.
- Reduce Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) through proactive follow-up.
- Coordinate with ERP teams for process enhancements.
7. Stakeholder Coordination
- Liaise with internal departments including Sales, Projects, SCM, Dispatch, and Finance.
- Build and maintain positive customer relationships.
- Escalate high-risk receivables to senior management.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Accounts Receivable processes.
- Good understanding of GST and invoicing procedures.
- Experience in customer reconciliation and collection management.
- Knowledge of financial reporting and accounting principles.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong negotiation and communication abilities.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under strict timelines.
Preferred Industry Experience:
Candidates with experience in Renewable Energy, EPC, Manufacturing, Infrastructure, Engineering, Electrical, Construction, or Industrial organizations will be preferred.

- Collection efficiency.
