Salary Summary:Own the design, development, and execution of automated testing solutions for enterprise SAP S/4HANA and integrated non-validated applications. The role is hands-on and focuses on building scalable, maintainable automation assets using Tricentis tools while collaborating cross-functionally to ensure quality, reliability, and timely delivery across the application landscape.

Responsibilities:1) Test Automation Design & Development

- Design, develop, and maintain model-based automated test cases using Tricentis Tosca for:

SAP GUI transactions
SAP Fiori applications
OData and API services
Other Non-Validated Applications

- Build reusable, modular, and maintainable automation components aligned with Tosca best practices.
- Leverage AI-assisted testing capabilities in Tosca to optimize test creation, maintenance, and coverage.
- Ensure automation supports SAP S/4HANA end-to-end business processes across integrated systems.

2) DEX & Advanced Execution Capabilities

- Execute DEX-focused (Distributed Execution) automated testing using Tricentis Tosca.
- Enable parallel execution across multiple environments to reduce execution time and improve coverage.
- Ensure execution stability across SAP S/4HANA, Fiori, and integrated applications.
- Monitor and troubleshoot execution issues in distributed test runs.

3) Test Management & Administration (qTest)

- Create and manage test plans, test suites, and test cases in Tricentis qTest.




- Maintain and govern test data to support functional, regression, and integration testing.
- Provide qTest administrative support, including user access, configurations, and integrations.
- Ensure traceability between requirements, test cases, executions, and defects.
- Support synchronization between manual and automated test execution results.

4) Performance & Load Testing Automation

- Develop automated test assets to support performance, load, and stress testing using Tricentis NeoLoad.
- Execute performance testing for critical SAP business processes and integrations.
- Collaborate with technical teams to analyze system behavior, scalability, and reliability under load.
- Support continuous performance testing as part of release and regression cycles.

5) CI/CD & Toolchain Integration

- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using:

Azure DevOps
SAP Cloud ALM
SAP Solution Manager

- Enable continuous testing as part of build, deployment, and release workflows.
- Ensure automation results are consumable by development, QA, and business stakeholders.
- Support shift-left and shift-right testing strategies.

6) Stakeholder Collaboration & Delivery Alignment

- Collaborate with:

SAP functional leads
Developers and architects
Business owners
Infrastructure and environment teams

- Align testing scope, priorities, dependencies, and timelines.
- Participate in requirement reviews,



design discussions, and release planning.
- Act as a quality advocate across delivery teams.

7) Test Metrics, Defect Management & Reporting

- Track and analyze test execution metrics, automation coverage, and defect trends.
- Perform root-cause analysis for automation failures and test defects.
- Troubleshoot test failures across functional, integration, and performance layers.
- Provide clear status reporting and insights to stakeholders and leadership.

Essential Functions of the Role**:Develop and execute automated functional, integration, and performance tests; ensure test execution stability across environments; analyze automation failures and defects and perform root-cause analysis; maintain traceability between requirements, tests, and defects; contribute to release planning and quality advocacy across delivery teams.

Work Experience Requirements

- Number of Overall Years Necessary: 2-5

- Minimum of 2 years of Test Automation Development in Tricentis TOSCA experience with bachelors degree

Education RequirementsDiploma or Degree in Computer Engineering /Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent related field of study
