Position Title: Technical Lead

Job Location: New Delhi

Role Overview

The Technical Lead shall be responsible for leading the design, development, implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of enterprise-grade web applications and digital solutions. The incumbent will provide technical leadership to the development team, ensure adherence to software development best practices, and oversee the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirement analysis, solution design, coding, testing, deployment, and post-production support.

The role requires a highly experienced technology professional with expertise in Microsoft technologies, modern web frameworks, database management, API development, and application architecture. The Technical Lead will work closely with business stakeholders, project managers, architects, and developers to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performance applications aligned with organizational objectives.

Scope of Work

- Lead the end-to-end development and delivery of enterprise web applications and software solutions.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to software developers and development teams.
- Design scalable application architecture and recommend appropriate technology solutions.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, security guidelines, and software quality processes.
- Coordinate with business teams for requirement gathering, solution design, and implementation.
- Review application performance, troubleshoot technical issues, and recommend improvements.
- Manage application deployment, production support, and version upgrades.
- Ensure timely project delivery while maintaining quality, security, and performance standards.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership

- Lead a team of software developers and provide technical direction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Review system architecture, application design, and technical specifications.
- Establish development standards, coding guidelines, and best practices.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to software quality standards.
- Mentor team members and support technical skill development.

Application Development

- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications using Microsoft technology stack.
- Develop scalable web applications using ASP.NET Framework,



ASP.NET Core, C#, and VB.NET.
- Build modern front-end applications using React, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and related technologies.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and Web APIs for application interoperability.
- Implement database solutions using Microsoft SQL Server and Entity Framework.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and maintainability.

Solution Design & Architecture

- Prepare technical architecture documents, system design documents, and development standards.
- Design secure, scalable, and high-availability applications.
- Recommend technology upgrades and modernization initiatives.
- Ensure application architecture aligns with organizational IT standards.

Database & API Management

- Design and optimize SQL Server databases, stored procedures, functions, and queries.
- Develop secure RESTful APIs and Web Services.
- Ensure efficient integration with third-party systems and enterprise applications.

Testing, Deployment & Support

- Support Unit Testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and production deployment.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement timely resolutions.
- Ensure proper release management, version control, and deployment documentation.
- Monitor application health and system performance.

Project Coordination

- Collaborate with business users, functional teams, QA teams, and project managers.
- Estimate development effort and support project planning activities.
- Track project milestones and ensure timely delivery.
- Prepare technical documentation, user manuals, and implementation reports.

Minimum Qualification

Essential Qualification

- B.Tech / B.E. / MCA with specialization in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, Electronics & Communication, or equivalent discipline from a recognized university/institution.

OR





- Equivalent qualification with relevant professional experience in Software Development and Enterprise Application Development.

Minimum Experience

- Minimum 6-8 years of professional experience in software development, application architecture, enterprise application development, and technical team leadership.
- Experience in leading software development teams and managing enterprise-scale applications.
- Experience in Government, PSU, BFSI, IT Services, Consulting, or large enterprise environments will be preferred.

The candidate should possess excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, along with proven experience in delivering complex, business-critical applications using ASP.NET Framework, ASP.NET Core, C#, VB.NET, SQL Server, Web APIs, React, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Entity Framework, and RESTful services. Experience in Agile development methodologies and enterprise digital transformation projects will be an added advantage.
