JD:

We are seeking a highly experienced Java Architect with 9+ years of experience in designing, building, and optimizing enterprise-scale applications. The ideal candidate must be a hands-on technologist, capable of driving architecture decisions, guiding engineering teams, and ensuring alignment with business goals. The role demands deep technical expertise in Java, microservices, cloud-native platforms, integration patterns, and modern development practices.

Key Responsibilities

Architectural Leadership

- Lead end-to-end architecture for complex enterprise applications using Java, Spring, and Microservices.
- Define and own the technical roadmap, ensuring scalability, performance, security, and maintainability.
- Drive solution architecture, reference architectures, integration patterns, and design best practices.
- Evaluate new technologies, conduct PoCs, and recommend adoption based on business needs.

Hands-on Development

- Participate actively in coding, code reviews, refactoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
- Build microservices using Java 11+/17+, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud.
- Develop high-performance, distributed, event-driven systems using technologies like Kafka, MQs, NoSQL databases, etc.

Cloud & DevOps

- Architect cloud-native solutions on AWS / Azure / GCP with strong hands-on experience.
- Optimize application deployments using Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform (optional).
- Collaborate with DevOps teams for CI/CD pipeline design and automation.





Technical Governance & Best Practices

- Define architecture standards, coding guidelines, and quality benchmarks for engineering teams.
- Mentor and guide developers, senior engineers, and tech leads.
- Conduct architecture reviews, threat modelling, scalability assessments, and design reviews.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

- Work closely with product managers, business analysts, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical architectures.
- Present architectural solutions and trade-offs to leadership teams.

Required Skills & Experience

Core Technical Skills

- Java (11/17), Spring Framework, Spring Boot
- Microservices architecture and distributed system design
- Strong experience with REST APIs, GraphQL (optional), gRPC
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Hands-on experience with:
- Docker, Kubernetes
- Kafka / RabbitMQ / Event Streaming
- SQL & NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, etc.)
- Caching solutions (Redis, Hazelcast)

- Experience building large-scale, secure, resilient architectures.

Architecture & Design

- Solid knowledge of design patterns, DDD, component-based architecture, SOA.
- Experience with CI/CD, code quality tools, and SRE practices.
- Understanding of performance engineering, scalability tuning, and HA/DR strategies.

Soft Skills

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership qualities.
- Ability to mentor teams and enforce architectural discipline.
