About The Client: Client is a life insurance company in India. The firm offers life insurance products targeted at individuals and groups, catering to four distinct segments: protection, children, retirement and investment plans.

About The Job:

Business Planning & Performance Management

- Create annual, monthly and periodic business plan for distribution channels
- Own and manage dashboards, MIS, and reporting for key performance metrics (activation, productivity, contest ROI, etc.)
- Generate actionable insights to guide sales and distribution strategy
- Partner with central S&D; Planning team to roll out and track payout schemes (employee & distributor)

Distributor & Employee Engagement

- Design and execute contests, campaigns, and RnR (Rewards & Recognition) programs to drive motivation and productivity
- Ensure effective dissemination and adoption of engagement initiatives across field teams
- Continuously evaluate effectiveness and optimize engagement interventions based on outcomes

Field Activation & Performance Improvement

- Work closely with field teams (L1s/L2s) to drive repeat activation and improve productivity of underperforming cohorts
- Identify performance outliers and design targeted interventions
- Enable field teams with insights, nudges, and structured engagement plans

Lead Conversion & Channel Activation





- Drive conversion of leads generated through association events and partnerships
- Track funnel metrics and identify drop-offs to improve conversion efficiency
- Collaborate with sales teams to ensure effective follow ups and closures

Digital & Process Transformation

- Lead digitization of engagement and communication processes to improve scalability and tracking
- Drive adoption of digital tools/platforms for contests, RnR, and distributor engagement
- Improve transparency, turnaround time, and measurement of engagement initiatives

Team Management

- Lead and mentor a team of 3 members across planning and field engagement roles
- Set clear goals, monitor performance, and ensure capability building

Key Performance Indicators

- Distributor activation & retention rates
- Productivity per distributor / agent
- Contest participation and ROI
- Lead-to-conversion ratios from events
- Adoption of digital engagement tools
- Timeliness and accuracy of MIS/reporting

Essential Job Functions:

Relevant Work-experience

- 10-15 years of experience in sales strategy, distribution, or field engagement roles
- Experience in insurance/financial services or similar distribution-heavy industries preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills




- Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams and influence field teams
- Experience in driving large-scale engagement or incentive programs is a plus

Qualifications:

Language Proficiency

- English
- Graduation
