Associate Vendor Partnerships
Role Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic and relationship-driven Associate – Vendor Partnerships to
manage the end-to-end vendor partnership process. In this role, you will engage with
prospective vendors through virtual and in-person meetings, present the company's partnership
model, negotiate commercials, coordinate contract execution, and drive successful vendor
onboarding. You will act as the primary point of contact for vendors, ensuring a seamless
onboarding experience while building long-term relationships. The ideal candidate should
possess strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability
to collaborate effectively across teams and deliver an exceptional vendor experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Google Meet or face-to-face meetings with interested vendors to explain the
partnership model, commercials, pricing structure, onboarding process, and contract
terms, while addressing queries and driving successful vendor onboarding.
- Negotiating commercials while ensuring alignment with company guidelines.
- Addressing vendor queries and resolving objections during the onboarding process.
- Coordinating and ensuring timely execution of vendor contracts & get the signed
contract
- Following up with vendors to collect the required Bank Guarantee, KYC documents and
other supporting documents.
- Maintaining accurate records of vendor progress and updating internal trackers.
- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure smooth and timely vendor activation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure a smooth, positive, and
seamless onboarding experience.
- Providing Vendor support while handling their escalations post onboarding
Required Skill Set :
- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Ability to explain commercial terms, pricing, and partnership models clearly.
- Confidence in handling objections and closing discussions.
- Contract coordination and documentation skills.
- Ability to guide vendors through the contract signing process.
- Strong follow-up and relationship management skills.
- Attention to detail while reviewing contracts and required documents.
- Ability to collect and verify Bank Guarantee documents as per company requirements.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel, and CRM/tools for tracking vendor
progress.
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to resolve vendor queries professionally.
- Basic understanding of legal/commercial agreements is an added advantage.
