Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the conceptualization and development of interior architectural designs for residential, commercial, retail, hospitality, and office projects.
- Prepare space planning, layout designs, mood boards, material palettes, and design presentations.
- Develop detailed architectural and interior working drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, ceiling layouts, flooring layouts, and joinery details.
- Review and approve drawings prepared by junior architects and designers to ensure accuracy and compliance with project standards.
- Coordinate with clients to understand project requirements, present design concepts, and incorporate feedback.
- Collaborate with structural, MEP, HVAC, lighting, and landscape consultants to ensure seamless project integration.
- Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress, resolve design issues, and ensure adherence to design intent.
- Select and specify materials, finishes, furniture, fixtures, lighting, and accessories within project budgets.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, suppliers, and procurement teams for timely execution.
- Ensure projects comply with local building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Prepare project schedules, monitor timelines, and ensure projects are delivered within budget and deadlines.




- Review BOQs (Bill of Quantities), estimates, and technical specifications.
- Identify design risks and recommend practical, cost-effective solutions during execution.
- Mentor and guide junior architects, interior designers, and drafting teams.
- Participate in client meetings, design reviews, and project coordination meetings.
- Stay updated on industry trends, sustainable materials, innovative technologies, and best practices.
- Maintain project documentation, design revisions, and approval records.
- Support business development by contributing to design proposals and presentations when required.

Required Skills

- Solid expertise in interior architecture, space planning, and detailing.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, 3ds Max, V-Ray/Lumion, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Excellent knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building services.
- Strong project management and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and client management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
