- Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on hydraulic systems and equipment.
- Diagnose and repair hydraulic faults, including pressure loss, leakage, overheating, and component failures.
- Inspect, maintain, and replace hydraulic pumps, motors, cylinders, valves, accumulators, filters, hoses, and fittings.
- Read and interpret hydraulic circuit diagrams, technical drawings, and maintenance manuals.
- Monitor hydraulic oil condition, contamination levels, pressure, temperature, and fluid cleanliness.
- Carry out hydraulic oil filtration, flushing, and system commissioning activities.
- Identify root causes of hydraulic failures and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure proper installation, alignment, and testing of hydraulic components.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, inspection reports, and spare parts usage.
- Coordinate with production and other maintenance teams to minimize equipment downtime.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures,
including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and secure work practices.
- Maintain housekeeping standards in the work area and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Required Skills:
- 2–5 years of experience in hydraulic maintenance within manufacturing, steel, cement, mining, or other heavy industries.
- Strong knowledge of industrial hydraulic systems and components.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair hydraulic equipment efficiently.
- Proficiency in reading hydraulic schematics and engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of hydraulic oil contamination control and filtration practices.
- Familiarity with preventive and predictive maintenance techniques.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team
