Position Title - Assistant Engineer Mechanical position.

Department - Plant Engineering

Reporting - Engineering Manager

- To carry out fault finding / trouble shooting / maintenance of rotating equipments like centrifugal pumps, screw pumps, diaphragm pumps, rotary vacuum filters, mixers, gearbox, agitators, cooling towers, chillers, separators, clarifiers, centrifuge, extruder, mixer granulator, packing wrap machine etc.
- To perform Bearing assembly / dismounting, mechanical seal repair / replacements etc., trouble shooting of hoists / crane & piping assembly - dismantling.
- Implementation of Integrated management system, ISO 9001, ISO 15001, ISO 18001, ISO 22000 & 5S. TPM knowledge. Preparation of SOP, PM plans, Shutdown Plans Checklists, material requirements in advance.
- Lead team of mechanical technicians and execute PM, predictive, breakdown,condition monitoring and improvement jobs in the plant.
- Read & interpret documents such as safety rules, operating & manufacturing instructions and procedure manuals.
- Maintenance of hydraulic System, Heat Exchangers, Condensers, Compressors, Chilling Plant, Air Conditioners, HVAC, Multistage Pumps etc.
- Assist in maintenance for Steam Turbine, DG Sets, RO Plant, MEE Plant, Lobe type Blowers, Decanters,



Boiler equipments like Multistage Pumps, Coal handling Plant, Impeller Fan Assemblies, Soot Blowers, Traveling Grate etc.
- Immediate response to breakdown maintenance repair with root cause analysis, CAPA & their execution compliance co ordinating with production dept.
- Carry out exact shaft alignment of rotating machines with the help of laser alignment kit & dial gauges. Handling of condition monitoring tools.
- ERP- (Microsoft D 365) - Execution of Maintenance Orders, Job Plans, Material issue slips, closing of maintenance orders etc. Maintaining history cards.
- Safety work management- Job safety analysis, work permit system, LOTO, TBT before execution.
- Proactiveness for safe & smooth execution of all the daily activities by staff to achieve zero accident.
- Co-ordination with external service providers for AMC services or in emergency requirements.
- Participation in cost saving schemes of organisation wide energy, manpower or innovations.
- Performance inline to organisation objectives & Job KPI.
