We are delighted to invite experienced and motivated Application Engineer - Product Applications (R&D;) to join our growing team. This is an excellent prospect to work on innovative engineering solutions for Formwork, Scaffolding, Shoring, and Temporary Works Systems while contributing to product development, application engineering, customer technical support, site applications, product validation, and continuous product improvement.
Role & responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Develop application drawings and engineering solutions for customer projects.
- Prepare formwork, scaffolding, and shoring layouts based on project requirements.
- Provide technical support to sales, project execution, and customers.
- Conduct site visits to understand application challenges and recommend suitable solutions.
- Collect customer feedback and identify opportunities for product improvement.
- Coordinate with the Design, Structural Engineering, Prototype, and Testing teams.
- Prepare method statements, assembly guides, technical manuals, and application notes.
- Conduct product demonstrations, technical presentations, and customer training.
- Support prototype installations and field trials.
- Perform site audits to verify product performance and identify improvement opportunities.
- Participate in value engineering and cost optimization initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and engineering best practices.
- Support product launches through customer and project implementation.
Preferred candidate profile
Proficiency in: • AutoCAD • MS Excel • MS PowerPoint
• Formwork systems • Scaffolding systems • Temporary works engineering • RCC construction • Engineering drawings • Site execution practices
1. Experience in customer technical support.
2. Knowledge of temporary works engineering and construction planning.
3. Ability to interpret structural calculations and engineering drawings.
4. Strong communication and presentation skills.
5. Good coordination and problem-solving abilities.
6. Willingness to travel to project sites.
