Desired Candidate Profile

- Master's Degree in Visual Communication, Graphic Design, Communication Design, or a related discipline (Ph.D. preferred).
- 8 to 15 years of relevant academic and/or industry experience.
- Prior experience as HOD, Program Coordinator, Academic Lead, or Senior Faculty is preferred.
- Solid expertise in Branding, Graphic Design, Typography, Digital Media, Publication Design, and Visual Storytelling.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Figma, and other industry-standard creative tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, mentoring, and stakeholder management skills.
- Passion for innovation, creative education, and student development.

About the Role

ITM Institute of Design & Media is looking for an experienced Program Mentor (HOD) Visual Communication to lead the department, mentor faculty and students, and drive academic excellence through creative, industry-oriented learning. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in branding,



graphic design, visual storytelling, and digital communication.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage the Visual Communication department, ensuring high academic standards and student success.
- Deliver lectures and studio sessions in Graphic Design, Branding, Advertising, Typography, Publication Design, Packaging Design, and Digital Media.
- Mentor faculty members and oversee curriculum planning and delivery.
- Guide students in live industry projects, portfolio development, internships, and graduation projects.
- Develop industry collaborations with branding agencies, design studios, advertising firms, and media organizations.
- Organize workshops, guest lectures, exhibitions, competitions, and placement initiatives.
- Drive curriculum innovation aligned with current design trends, emerging technologies, and AI-enabled creative practices.
- Ensure academic planning, assessments, accreditation requirements, and quality assurance.
- Support admissions, student mentoring, institutional branding, and departmental growth.
