Job Title: Laser Cutting Machine Operator

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Laser Cutting Machine Operator to join our fabrication team. The candidate will be responsible for operating CNC laser cutting machines, maintaining production quality, minimizing material wastage, and ensuring timely completion of jobs.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate fiber laser cutting machines for sheet metal and Pipe cutting fabrication.
• Load and unload metal sheets safely and efficiently.
• Set machine parameters according to production requirements.
• Monitor cutting quality and make necessary adjustments.
• Read and understand production drawings and cutting layouts.
• Perform daily machine cleaning and basic maintenance.
• Inspect finished parts for dimensional accuracy and quality.
• Segregate finished components and maintain production records.
• Coordinate with the design and production teams to resolve manufacturing issues.




• Ensure safe operation and compliance with workshop safety standards.

Requirements

- ITI / Diploma / Technical qualification preferred.
• Experience operating CNC Laser Cutting Machines
• Understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes.
• Ability to read fabrication drawings.
• Knowledge of machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Positive attention to detail and production quality.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Fiber Laser machines.
• Understanding of nesting concepts.
• Knowledge of stainless steel, mild steel, aluminum, brass, and copper processing.
• Forklift or material handling experience is an advantage.
