Role & responsibilities

- Responsible for execution, supervision, and coordination of FPS (Fire Protection System) and HVAC mechanical works at the project site.
- Review and interpret engineering drawings, layouts, specifications, BOQs, and technical documents.
- Plan and monitor installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance activities related to FPS and HVAC systems.
- Coordinate with engineering, civil, electrical, QA/QC, safety, subcontractors, and vendors for smooth project execution.
- Ensure installation activities are carried out as per approved drawings, project specifications, and applicable standards.
- Monitor site progress, manpower, materials, and equipment requirements.
- Conduct inspections and ensure quality compliance during installation and commissioning.
- Identify site issues and coordinate with the concerned teams for timely resolution.
- Review contractor/subcontractor work and ensure compliance with approved method statements and quality requirements.
- Prepare and maintain daily/weekly progress reports, inspection records, and other project documentation.




- Ensure compliance with project HSE requirements and participate in toolbox talks and safety meetings.
- Support testing, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and handover activities of FPS and HVAC systems.

Preferred candidate profile

- Solid knowledge of Fire Protection Systems (FPS) and HVAC systems.
- Experience in mechanical installation and site execution.
- Knowledge of firefighting systems, piping, pumps, hydrants, sprinklers, fire water systems, and related equipment.
- Knowledge of HVAC equipment, ducting, piping, ventilation, chilled water systems, and associated installations.
- Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings, P&IDs;, layouts, and technical specifications.
- Good coordination, supervision, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of applicable engineering standards, quality requirements, and safety practices.
