Role & responsibilities

1. Involvement in new building designs, extensions, alterations, restorations and

conservations projects from the earliest stages right through to completion. The goal is to

match organizational requirements and to produce sustainable, functional and aesthetically

pleasing designs.

2. Taking a brief note of organizational requirement in terms of infrastructure usage,

objective, budget etc. & respond accurately and appropriately as possible to the

requirements.

3. Based on the requirements input, study & developing ideas & providing user department

the feasibility report, innovative & functional concept design proposals.

4. Discussion of proposal for usage with Fire, Safety, Maintenance & setting

departments to ensure proper safety & health of the occupants & environmental impact of the

proposal.

5. After approval from all stakeholders, developing and producing design schemes which we





consider to be viable in terms of build ability, aesthetics and in terms of local authority

guidelines, planning structures and building legislation.

6. Pay attention to environmental and sustainable issues and wherever possible to

incorporate energy saving & green building technologies into design concepts &

specifications.

7. Preparation of project cost proposal in co-ordination with project team & revert back to all

the stakeholders.

8. Thoughtful preparation of departmental & interdepartmental budget proposal &

presentation (BZI) for the approval of budget from higher management.

9. Attending & presenting the cost proposal in pre budget approval meeting to management

for approval of the project cost.
