Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and creative Senior Interior Designer (Furniture/Interior) to support our new showroom and upcoming manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in modular kitchens and customized home furniture, along with a passion for design excellence and innovation.

The role requires in-depth knowledge of materials, finishes, and space planning, with the ability to translate client requirements into functional, practical, and aesthetically appealing design solutions. The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end ownership of design projectsfrom concept development to final execution—ensuring alignment with client expectations and company quality standards.

Hands-on experience in coordinating with production, vendors, and site teams will be essential to ensure timely delivery and seamless project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead interior and furniture design projects from concept, design development, and detailing to final execution.
- Create 2D drawings, layouts, working drawings, and 3D visualizations using AutoCAD and other design software.




- Design modular kitchens, wardrobes, customized furniture, and residential interiors as per client requirements.
- Conduct space planning, material selection, finishes, and color coordination.
- Present design concepts effectively to clients and incorporate feedback accurately.
- Coordinate with production, site, and sales teams to ensure design feasibility and timely execution.
- Ensure designs comply with quality standards, budgets, and timelines.
- Stay updated with modern design trends, materials, hardware, and technologies.
- Mentor junior designers and review their drawings and design outputs.

Required Skills:

- Strong design portfolio in modular kitchens and home interiors
- Proficiency in design tools: AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, V-Ray, Lumion (or relevant software)
- Knowledge of modular fitting systems (e.g., Hettich, Hafele, Blum)
- Good understanding of wood, laminates, PU, acrylics, veneers, and surface materials
- Excellent visualization, presentation, and communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple projects

Preferred Attributes:

- Experience working with premium modular furniture brands or turnkey interior firms
- Team management or leadership experience is a plus
- Willingness to travel for client/site meetings when required

Educational Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree/ Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Certification in AutoCAD, 3D design software, or similar tools is a plus.

Experience:

- 5 years ‘of experience required in the same field using AutoCAD and 3D design software for interior design projects (strong background in modular kitchen and home furniture design) .
- Prior experience in residential or commercial interior design projects or similar industry.
