About the Role

We are looking for a results-driven SEO Executive to improve our organic search visibility, drive qualified traffic, and support overall digital marketing goals. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with on-page, off-page, technical, and local SEO / listing management, and is comfortable working with data to make informed decisions

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities
- Optimize website content, meta tags, headers, and internal linking structure
- Perform technical SEO audits (site speed, crawlability, indexing, mobile-friendliness)
- Build and execute link-building strategies to improve domain authority
- Create, submit, and manage business listings on Google Business Profile, Bing Places, Justdial, Sulekha, IndiaMART, and other relevant directories
- Optimize product listings (titles, descriptions, tags, images, categories) on the Shopify store for on-page SEO and conversions
- Ensure NAP (Name, Address, Phone) consistency across all listings and citation sources
- Monitor and respond to reviews on business listing platforms to improve local reputation and ranking
- Monitor, track, and report on website analytics using Google Analytics, Search Console, and SEO tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, etc.)




- Collaborate with content writers to ensure SEO best practices are followed
- Work with developers to implement technical SEO recommendations
- Stay updated with Google algorithm changes and industry trends
- Prepare monthly performance reports with actionable insights

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
- 13 years of proven experience in SEO/digital marketing
- Solid understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors
- Hands-on experience with SEO tools: Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush/Ahrefs, Screaming Frog
- Experience with business listing / citation management and local SEO directories
- Shopify experience is a MUST hands-on with product listings, collections, and store SEO
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS and CMS platforms (WordPress, etc.)
- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects

Good to Have

- Experience with schema markup and structured data
- Knowledge of Google Ads / paid search (SEM)
- Familiarity with content marketing strategies
- Certification in Google Analytics / SEO (e.g., HubSpot, SEMrush Academy)
