Professor – Foundation (Design)

Mumbai, Delhi

We are looking for an experienced and passionate resource for the Foundation department at Pearl Academy, Mumbai and Delhi. The role requires strong academic leadership, faculty management, industry engagement, and a student-centric approach.

Key Responsibilities:

Curriculum Development/ Planning

• Course planning for all courses for the academic session

• Academic calendar implementation

Curriculum execution

• Review section-wise data/ marks statements

• Monitor progress of students to next level

Faculty Management

• Orienting and mentor new faculty members (on course structure, course related documents and KRAs)

• Timetabling and monitor FET

• Assess TQ / MQ and provide valuable feedback for improvement to faculty

Teaching

• Design and teach subjects/modules/courses

• Engaging faculty to prepare / revise course materials and resources

External focus





• Enhance industry relations for better visibility within the region

• Represent the department at regional marketing & sales activities/ assigning faculty

• Coordinate with CRD for high ROI for students' placements

Counselling & Mentoring

• Identify development needs and mentor the students

• Manage feedback received through PCMs, manage course teams and follow-up with S3 for student issues

Other Activities

• Plan Student orientation for all courses

• Any other department related responsibilities at regional level

• Supporting the AD to create a research culture in the dept.

• Active team player with AD in identifying recent source of revenue generation in the form of consulting projects, B2B, Pop up labs etc
