We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer / DevOps Lead AWS/ Azure Cloud Infrastructure to design, implement, and manage secure, scalable, and highly available cloud platforms on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in AWS/Azure cloud infrastructure, networking, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD automation, monitoring and observability, cloud security, and governance. The candidate should be capable of designing end-to-end cloud architectures, creating infrastructure and network diagrams, automating deployments, managing containerized workloads, and ensuring operational excellence across production environments.
This role requires a technically strong professional who can drive cloud modernization initiatives, implement best practices, improve platform reliability, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure and resilient cloud solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available AWS/Azure cloud infrastructure.
- Define and enforce cloud architecture standards, governance frameworks, security controls, and operational best practices.
- Design and maintain infrastructure architecture diagrams, network topology diagrams, deployment diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Design and manage AWS/Azure networking solutions, including VPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, VPN, Route 53, Security Groups, Network ACLs, and Load Balancers (ALB/NLB).
- Implement hybrid cloud and on-premises connectivity solutions.
- Drive cloud governance, cost optimization, and infrastructure reliability initiatives.
- Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, AWS CodePipeline, ArgoCD, or similar tools.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
- Design, deploy, manage, and optimize containerized workloads using Docker, Kubernetes,
and Amazon EKS.
- Implement Kubernetes best practices, including cluster administration, scaling, upgrades, networking, ingress management, and workload security.
- Implement AWS/Azure security best practices, IAM governance, secrets management, encryption, vulnerability management, and compliance controls.
- Design and manage monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions using CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch, Datadog, New Relic, or similar platforms.
- Build operational dashboards, define monitoring standards, and establish proactive alerting mechanisms.
- Lead incident management, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with engineering, security, and business teams to deliver cloud-native and platform engineering solutions.
- Mentor team members and promote DevOps best practices across projects and teams.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
- 7+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, Platform Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or related roles.
- Strong hands-on expertise in AWS/Azure cloud infrastructure and services.
- Experience designing and documenting infrastructure architecture, cloud solutions, and network topology diagrams using tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, Draw.io, or equivalent.
- Deep experience designing and managing AWS/Azure networking solutions, including Amazon VPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, VPN, Route 53, Security Groups, Network ACLs, and Application/Network Load Balancers (ALB/NLB).
- Strong hands-on experience managing production-grade Kubernetes environments, preferably Amazon EKS.
- Hands-on expertise with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Ingress Controllers, and container orchestration technologies.
- Strong experience implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, ArgoCD, AWS/Azure CodePipeline, or similar technologies.
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and AWS/Azure CloudFormation.
- Hands-on experience with monitoring, logging, and observability platforms such as Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, ELK/OpenSearch, Datadog, Splunk, or New Relic.
- Strong understanding of cloud security, IAM, networking fundamentals, governance, and cloud cost optimization.
- Good understanding of Microsoft Azure cloud services and cloud architecture principles.
- Strong Linux administration, scripting, automation, troubleshooting, and networking skills.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills.
- Experience supporting global customers, including US and/or European clients.

- AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate or Skilled/ Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305)
Preferred
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional
- AWS Advanced Networking Specialty
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate (AZ-700)
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)
