- Is to work along with the First Article Inspection (FAI) team across regions to plan, schedule, prioritize, review, and deliver all FAIs needed for sustaining parts and development projects.
- Also, to verify the production processes and to ensure First run of a part/product consistently meets design customer requirements.
- Clear understanding about FAI Documents, standards and approval processes.
- Products/Materials reviewed and approved meet all the quality standards as per the industry standards and requirements.
- In addition, you will be responsible for performing First Article Inspection (FAI) assessments per AS9102 for verification of customer requirements.
- Coordinate with client stakeholders and points of contact for escalations.
- Coordinate with Supplier Quality Development manager in driving the action plans developed through effective problem solving.
- Ensure workflow coordination as well as effective throughput and work prioritization.
- Manage workflow and work towards continually meeting process turnaround time metrics.
